WEATHER: Homeschool Group is still held regardless of Florida’s Fall and Spring weather conditions. If there is inclement weather, we will have activities in a sheltered area. If the center is closed for something unforeseen, we will contact each parent/guardian with the phone number or email address provided.
RED TIDE: Red Tide is not uncommon in our area. Our homeschool group is still held in red tide conditions as long as our beach and facility remain open. If your child has a medical condition that makes him or her unable to participate due to red tide, a refund minus a $30 fee will only be given if a doctor’s note is provided. If the sailing center is forced to shut down due to red tide, a credit of equivalent value will be issued that is applicable towards any of the services CCSC provides.
CAMPER SATISFACTION: We offer various exciting activities throughout the Homeschool Group series. However, we cannot always guarantee that your child will enjoy our program. If your child is not enjoying camp, please inform your child’s instructor as soon as possible. Sailing center staff will do their best to reasonably accommodate your child while at group. Our instructor’s top priority is to ensure your child’s safety on and off of the water.
DISMISSAL FROM HOMESCHOOL GROUP: In order to provide a positive experience for all of our sailors, CCSC reserves the right to dismiss sailors whose behavior is detrimental to the community, per the opinion of the Sailing Director. CCSC expects all sailors to adhere to the Youth Sailing Program Conduct Policy. A parent/guardian will be notified of any problems in group before dismissal occurs and the problem may be resolved with possible suspension only. If the Sailing Director determines that this is not possible due to circumstances, immediate dismissal may result. It will be the parent’s responsibility to pick up the child. There will be NO REFUNDS for dismissal.
Youth Sailing Program Conduct Policy:

ACTIVITY, STAFF, LOCATION CHANGES: We make every effort to adhere to the planned activities, activity locations, and schedules. Sometimes, however, events beyond our control necessitate changes, which cannot be predicted beforehand. Accordingly, CCSC reserves the right to make activity, staff, and program location changes at its discretion without limitation or prior notice. There will be no refunds, credits, or tuition reductions should any such change(s) occur.
